Some excitement on Watts up with that about a new peer reviewed scientific paper claiming that the surge in global temperatures since 1977 can be attributed to a 1976 climate shift in the Pacific Ocean (the El Niño-Southern Oscillation, or ENSO). The paper is described as "presenting a head on challenge to man-made global warming claims"....
