Energy sufficiency requires grown up choices

MPs on the Business and Enterprise Committee have pointed to the risk of an energy shortfall. The chairman says, "We have concluded that the Government’s faith in the market to deliver new gas storage, generating capacity and other infrastructure is misplaced". Indeed, we are seeing unfavourable change in the financial climate, as the credit crunch makes projects harder to finance.
