The NHS is a strange beast. Either you fit in to what its bureaucracy has decided, or you are sent off to die. There is no NHS mission to help people to live or be healthy. It is an organisation which exists purely to meet political and financial objectives. The very last thing that matters is the death or health of one of its clients, except as that contributes to the political equation.
