Why the rules mean nothing

click here to go to the blog The rules were absolutely clear. Every member state of the EU must ratify the Lisbon Treaty or it would cease to exist. Majority voting did not apply. The decision had to be unanimous. The Irish Republic has decided, using proper democratic process, not to ratify the Treaty. It was the only country in the EU where politicians were not allowed…
