In honor of Martin Luther King Day, perhaps it's fitting to take a look at the question of race and racism in America. Dr. Martin Luther King's vision was of society as a meritocracy,where, as he put it, people would be judged "by the content of their character, rather than the color of their skin." Have we achieved it? Yes and no.
