So it is, yet again, a New Year - having stated only yesterday that we won't do a piece on predictions for 2008 here it is. Without doubt the main political focus in 2008 (in the UK) will be the economy with a continuing down turn and with a gentle flat bottoming out mid year; only a small growth in UK economic activity by the end of the year...
