George Habash, founder of the radical Popular Front For the Liberation Of Palestine (PFLP) died today and got a rave eulogy from the BBC that I wouldn't have believed if I hadn't read it myself, while Mahmoud Abbas declared three days of official mourning. I expect this of the Palestinians, but the beeb still surprises me now and again, as I provide a eulogy of my own ...
