Intel expert Kenneth Timmerman is of the view that the NIE is a product of Iranian disinformation, and he provides valuable background on the men who created it.My own view is that these men were picked by the president to provide a face saving way of backing off and signaling Iran that the military option was off the table..and I analyze the probable effect.
