The story today that a jobbing builder of modest means, Ray Ruddick from Newcastle, has supposedly donated £196,000 to the Labour Party since 2003 and £104,000 of that since Gordon Brown became Prime Minister - despite not voting, not liking Labour and not liking politicians - once again flags up the issue of true sources of donations to Labour's party funds being hidden…
