The Labour Party knew only too well that its donations from Mr. Ruddick and Mrs. Kidd were actually from David Abrahams, a property developer. Labour General Secretary Peter Watt who was, for the purposes of the Political Parties, Elections and Referendums Act 2000, Registered Treasurer of the party has now resigned after admitting such knowledge.
