Far from rejecting Blairite foreign policy, David Cameron has actually been trying to revive "Liberal Interventionism", only in a more sensible, conservative sort of way. The result is what he calls "Liberal Conservatism". Whatever ideology one chooses to justify it, however, war with Iran could be on the cards for next spring.
